L’artiste de Portland Christina Mrozik a réalisé une série de dessins monochrome d’oiseaux intitulée Coraticum.
Avoir du coeur en latin, il s’agit d’une exploration de la reconstruction définit par sortir le cœur hors du corps.
the heart is the seed of all feelings. Cor meaning heart in Latin, the root for courage, stood in for “what is in ones mind or thoughts”, representing any inclination. Not just valor and bravery but wrath and pride—the core of any feeling from its root. This series of drawings tackles emotions that are difficult to verbally express, feelings wrapped in complexity and transformation. A yes, and. A fallout and a build up.
